Is there a way to send flowers to another country?I live in England, but my friend is in Arizona. He has just lost his Uncle and his family is pretty torn up. I would love to send them some flowers,i just have no idea how i would do it? If any one can help me with this i would be really appreciative. He 's been a good friend for ages and i don't like hearing him upset as its not like him at all, nothing usually gets to him.

Call info in Kenya or look up florists, Kenya and call them direct. Its much cheaper to call a florist in the area the flowers are going to than pay all the shipping and middle man stuff doing it from FTD

Go on-line and find a florist near the hospital where your friend is and call them directly. Any time you involve a middleman it is going to cost you extra. Using FTD is really a waste of money nowadays.

They may leave them with a neighbor, or a sticky note on the door saying they attempted to deliver something. Please call 1-800- & they will re-attempt to deliver it.

No, as long as the florist has proper documentation to get into the base such as valid insurance, registration and ID they can get in. You can also call the base operator alot of bases have flower shops located in there that can deliver and that will be a less hassle, but I work in a base and have seen flowers delivered.

I agree, roses may be too common, although they are sweet, It depends on the message you want to convey. I would go for:
- White tulips or orange gerbera daisies if you want to say you're sorry or white lilies to say it's heavenly to be with you.
- Pink tulips to say that you are really caring
- Red roses to say you are truly in love (even though those are too corny)
